About The Event

The Stage Is Set.
The Voices Are Coming.

MEV Foundation's Voices Unheard is a flagship Poetry & Storytelling Initiative that brings the art of spoken word directly to young people in schools across Lagos. This is more than a workshop — it is a movement to amplify every voice that has ever gone unheard.

Culminating in a main live event on July 1st, 2025 at Lagos City College Hall, Voices Unheard gives young students the platform, the tools, and the confidence to discover their voice, tell their story, and create lasting impact through the power of words.
